We collaborated with Docus in the production of this production. The goal was to create a web series as a documentary about the traditional cuisine in Sonora, focused mainly in Hermosillo and its surroundings. In this, our first original miniseries production, we seek to showcase Sonoran gastronomy and its highlight dishes, as well as the best places to visit to try them.
We visited the most popular and long-established spots in Hermosillo and its surroundings where you can get the best samples of traditional Sonoran cuisine. We interviewed some of the founders. Some establishments have been around for so long that it’s now the founder’s grandkids running the business.
We hosted the Premiere of Degustando Barrio web series on August 2022 and, during its first four months, it reached almost 100K views on YouTube. The series is an homage to Hermosillo’s food pioneers, who have left their mark in the city and greatly influenced its traditions.
